How Does Sedation Dentistry Work?
Dr. Bakhtyari will prescribe an oral medication, which you will be directed to take at a certain time before your appointment is set to begin. Please arrange for an escort to bring you to and from our office, as it will be unsafe for you to drive or travel alone. Once the effects begin, patients should feel very calm. Although you will remain technically awake throughout your procedure, it’s likely that you won’t remember anything about what you experienced later on.
